The River of Dreams BaseCamp it’s the most exclusive destination in Patagonia. Its open from October 12th to December 22nd, and then again from February 23rd to May 7th, providing anglers the opportunity to explore one of the last untouched rivers in the planet, more than 30 miles of the most beautiful and wild river in southern Patagonia. With very limited space available, we recommend booking early in advance for our short season, so you can be able to get the best dates. The River of Dreams BaseCamp its mainly a flyfishing Lodge, so our main focus are anglers. But if you have a explorer´s soul, and you will like to come and enjoy the nature, the wilderness and the solitude of the Camp, so you will love the River of Dreams. We never stop exploring, we are always looking for new places to fish. If you have decided to come visit us, will be a great pleasure to share with you this fly fishing Paradise, faraway from civilizations. We will take care of everything you need since you get to the airport in Balmaceda (Bba) until your departure from Balmaceda airport at the end of your trip.

At The River of Dreams BaseCamp, our top-notch professional guides and staff do their absolute best to protect you from all the risks inherent in any outdoor activity. But as we all know, participating in fishing, hiking, rafting, horseback riding and other River of Dreams BaseCamp activities presents risks, including but not limited to, the risk of personal injury, death and damage or loss of personal property. Such risks include, but are not limited to, the following:


Fishing and/or wading in or around lakes, ponds, reservoirs or other bodies of water; boarding and un-boarding of watercrafts; natural hazards including, but not limited to wind, floods, lightning storms and other adverse weather conditions; domestic or wild animals; fire; travel either on foot or in a vehicle in unfamiliar terrain or over fences and other structures; artificial and natural obstructions and/or unimproved roads; becoming lost or disoriented; the consumption of provisioned or other food and beverages. 


You should realize that during your visit to our remote Camp activity there may not be search, rescue, medical facilities or the expertise necessary to deal with any risks to which you may be exposed. Be aware that fishing and other lodge activities are physical activities involving potentially extreme physical exertion and may not be suitable for everyone.

We highly recommend all our clients to get Travel Insurance with medical rescue and evacuation included because the remoteness of our River of Dreams BaseCamp location
